A 2D Souls-like prototype built in Unity, inspired by Dark Souls and Blasphemous.
Demonbound was a prototype of a side-scrolling Souls-like game.
I was responsible for integrating all provided pixel art assets and implementing all of the game systems inside Unity.
Features
- 2D character controller with movement, jumping, and smooth animations.
- Combat system with light/heavy attacks, combos, jump attack, and charge attack.
- Healing flasks
- Checkpoint system
- Enemy AI with simple attack/behavior logic.
- UI elements such as a basic HP bar.
- Audio integration for combat and environment sounds.
